“Phenomenal customer service. Beautiful environment. Delicious food. Great music. My husband & I was on vacay from Dallas - looking for a quiet night with a good meal; we got much much more than that. From the beginning to end, it was wonderful. Michael, our server was the elite professional, Nick the Mgr., was soo hospitable, knowledgeable & kind. We received a FREE dessert for our birthdays & then relaxed on the patio in the swings.. This is what happiness looked like for us! Thank you to everyone who made it possible..you are truly appreciated!!”

“My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. We aren’t from SC, but everyone here is so wonderful! Hook & Barrel hires serves that care and tend to you like no other. I have a gluten allergen, and our server immediately took care of me, personalizing my foods to where they were gluten free. As a young married couple that doesn’t travel often, they answered every question we had. The bistro connected also has gluten free sweets and amazing workers. 1000/10 recommend!”

“When it comes to reviews I tend to be wordy. But with my recent experience at Hook & Barrel I have decided to let my photos do the talking. Yes, I can openly brag about their fresh, sustainable and flavorful dishes and their friendly, knowledgeable waitstaff. And being we were seated on the open veranda with comfortable wicker chairs and large tables I didn’t venture inside for my usual photo op so suffice to say it will mostly be food pics. Note: it was a beautiful evening and we thoroughly enjoyed being outside but just be aware you are seated next to a very busy highway and noise levels can be loud at times. We took advantage of appetizers, small plate entrees, fresh catch of the day options and even desserts and enjoyed every bite. Not a thing left us thinking something was lacking. Our waitstaff was personable, knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. Kudos to her. It was nice to bring out of state guests and leave knowing they were impressed.”

“I was in town for work and had the chance to eat at Hook & Barrel, and I’m really glad I did. The service was excellent, the beer selection was great, and the food was outstanding. The fish was cooked perfectly and the she-crab soup alone was worth the trip. The highlight of the meal, though, was the pimiento cheese served with bread and crackers — absolutely fantastic. Everything about the experience was top-notch. If I’m back in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping in for another great meal. Highly recommend.”

“We just had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Hook & Barrel with our adult children. It was easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time! From cocktails and the perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth, steaks to the rich crab ragù and the superb crab-stuffed flounder, every entrée was outstanding. The menu is full of creative, high-quality dishes, and everything we enjoyed had exceptional flavor…especially the chocolate chip cookie skillet. Our server, Antonia, was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu. Her suggestions were spot on and truly elevated our meal. Her warm, attentive service made the evening even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend Hook & Barrel to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service in a relaxed yet elevated setting.”
