“First time going to & Sons and it definitely lived up to the hype. One thing I’d recommend right away — make a reservation. Dining in the city can sometimes feel easier to just walk in and hope for the best, but this spot gets busy and the reservation made everything smooth. We arrived around 5 PM and originally had bar seating, but asked if it would be possible to sit in the dining room instead. The host accommodated us with no issue, which already made the experience start off on a great note. We were served by Amanda, who was personable and welcoming from the very beginning. Since it was our first time, she took the time to explain the menu, recommend some of her favorite dishes, and made us feel comfortable without being overbearing. We ordered the Adult Happy Meal, which was honestly delicious, and the Cajun-style surf and turf cooked medium. The steak was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. For drinks, we paired everything with a Hugo Spritz and their specialty Espresso Martini made with whiskey — both were really good and complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, the food, drinks, service, and accommodations made this a really enjoyable first experience, and we’d definitely come back.”

“Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding perfectly cooked steak, rich sides, and every bite was full of flavor. You can tell real care goes into the quality and presentation of each dish. The sauces were incredible and paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It has a true speakeasy vibe — warm lighting, classy décor, and an intimate, upscale feel that makes the whole experience special. The second floor dining area is especially beautiful and cozy, giving you that hidden-gem, old-school lounge energy. It’s the perfect spot for date night or a special occasion. Between the food, the service, and the ambiance, this place is a 10/10. Can’t wait to come back.”

“The Adult happy meal is well worth it. The wings are great to share, crispy and moist. The pig in a blanket are a great shareable while the mac and cheese 🧀 definitely get 2 because you will want more. The drinks hit the spot and don't disappoint. Definitely a great neighborhood spot and a must if your from out of town. BTW if you sit near the door wear your coat its a bit drafty in the winter.”

“We had the most amazing Caesar salad here and the mac and cheese is also delicious! The wait staff were really friendly and accommodating and they made the best cocktails as well as non-alcoholic mocktails! Will definitely come back here again and recommend it to all our friends.”
