Comida rica & vino todo el día
“Literally the best meal we had in Mexico City after an entire week here. Even better than Pujol in our opinion!! We had the oysters, muscles, caramelized onion dish with burrata, pescado entre, and burger. Every single dish was incredible and so uniquely made. We sat at the bar so we got to watch the chefs make the dishes and they were incredible. Those 5 dishes + sparkling water came out to 2000 pesos, super super reasonable!! Would HIGHLY recommend and would definitely come back.”
“The food is superb. Not much can me said about it in the best of ways. It really is that great. We had a bunch of entrees and then each had their own main. We tried the leek (a must), the tartare (also a must), the foi gras and one of the salads. For main I chose the steak frites. The meat was perfectly cooked and accompanied by a bernaise sauce. This was absolutely delicious. We ordered the cheese tart and the chocolate tart. Both amazing. As for the service: although the staff is polite and attentive, it feels like they’re rushing you throughout the meal, lifting the plates of those who’ve finished even if others still have food in their plates. It came to the point when they requested our table because the next party had arrived. I understand this is a business but 2.5 hours for a table of 6 seems a little tight for my liking. (No matter how many times you specify this in the reservation 1.- not everyone in the party reads the reservation rules 2.- this doesn’t make the experience feel any less rushed). We were surprised at first as why they hadn’t earned a Michelin star yet and we ended up understanding exactly why. Once again: this is a space management problem, not an équipe de salle problem.”
“Excellent gourmet place by Lucho Martínez , a chef from Veracruz México . Everything is so delicate and perfectly cooked that is really difficult to say what’s the best choice. My favorite was the roasted chicken and the meat tartar . They have a great wine cava . The chocolate cake was awesome!”
“Martinez was highly recommended from our friends that live in Roma nrt and they didn't disappoint. The food, the service, the overall design and atmosphere was on point and worthy of a Michelin mention!”
“We stopped by this restaurant around 6 pm on a Sunday evening without a reservation, and luckily only had a short wait before getting seated. The host at the front desk was very polite and did their best to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Our server was also wonderful. Since we weren’t very hungry, we ordered three appetizers: the flatbread, ceviche de pescado, and mussels. All three were delicious and definitely the highlights of the meal. For the main course, we shared a pasta. It was good, but not as impressive as the appetizers. Overall, the service was excellent and the experience was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Mexico City.”
