“Went there is past Sunday for lunch. I was greeted warmly and seated in a booth in bar area. The first I noticed was how open the space and large the space was. Big windows letting in natural light. From my seat I looked over a very large patio and covered bar area. My service was prompt and knowledgeable about the menu and operation. I narrowed my selection out of many wonderful sounding choices, to the Ribeye French Dip. It was amazing the beef tallow fries didn't need and dipping sauce. I saved room for dessert. I had the Caramel Budino. This also was very good. I am definitely coming back to try more menu items. Easy location to get to, ample parking.”
“First time here, and so glad we tried it! Definitely a high-end restaurant. Welcomed and seated quickly (we did have a reservation), our waitress was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I had an old fashioned with a large square ice cube. The bread and whipped butter was great, we also had a side of carrots. The carrots were slightly (perfect) al dente with a great but light sauce. Steaks came out perfect to our requested temp. Very happy with our whole experience. A couple of things for me in a high-end steakhouse. Give me some great smooth jazz, less rock or whatever it was. My wife said give me a large knife! The steak knife was the size of a butter knife and sharp. So just two of our personal preferences. Shaded outdoor seating overlooking the Mississippi River! Its a must try place and if the weather permits, sit outside and enjoy the view and the great food! Expect $60-100 per person.”
“Visited last night for happy hour for the first time and I’m excited to go back to try more items and have dinner. I sat at the bar and tried a couple appetizers and a dessert along with two of their cocktails. The behind the bar team - Dane and Lola - were wonderful. Dane made great suggestions and modified a drink for me due to my liquor preference. Eric was warm and welcoming. The crab cakes were huge. The pork belly was gone before I got a picture it was so good. My personal take on the shrimp was that I didn’t care for the breading, but the flavor and sauce were good. The sticky toffee cake was also big, definitely great for sharing. The cake was moist (can’t find a better word, sorry 😂) and flavorful and the fresh whipped cream and sauce were great. As others have mentioned, it is a bit loud, but it wasn’t more than I’d expect on a busy Friday night.”
“Very nicely finished and placed steakhouse! Food was excellent. Many different menu options compared to other "fancy" steakhouse options in MN. More affordable options, and a couple high end cuts as well. All prepared top notch in my wife and I's opinion. We had the truffle fries as an app, a Caesar salad that I liked as everything was chopped and mixed well. My wife's prime filet was one of the better cuts and better tasting ones we thought we have tried in the twin cities. I was saddened they didn't have a bone in ribeye or a prime grade ribeye only a choice grade or wagyu. I tried the wagyu, it was cooked perfectly but I'm not a huge wagyu fan. The service and staff were top notch. Felt like there was more staff than customers and the place was packed. Many managers, chefs, and others checking in and helping out. Awesome environment, great food, great location on the river. We are excited to try the expansive patio this summer!”
“Very excited this place is here. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is very nice, cozy and warm feeling. Although it can be a little noisy that is part of the charm where all walks of life are welcome. The food was delicious especially the basil risotto and shrimp appetizer. Steak was done perfectly and the French Onion soup was rich and delicious although abit more bread than I prefer but the great amount of melted cheese made up for it. OH! And you have to try their signature blue cheese Martini. First off...it is a high ball cocktail and although it may sound odd the blue cheese was light and blended so well with the vodka. Must try!! Highly suggest coming here as it is wonderful to have a good quality steakhouse around.”
