“A first class Sunday lunch. The Sheaf was recommended to me so I thought that I would give it a try - What an amazing experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere and service perfect. I started with a cheese soufflé which was one of the best starters that I have ever had. There is a good choice of meats for Sunday lunch, I had the slow roasted belly of pork with crackling and stuffing this and the accompanying potato’s and vegetables were delicious and cooked the perfection. A gastro pub which deserves recognition. Thank you to all at The Sheaf. I cannot wait to return.”

“The food was cooked to perfection. Portion sizes a bit too big in my opinion and I don't like leaving food. The menu choices were very good and plenty gluten free options. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Tables of other diners were a little bit close, but I could live with it. All in all a very pleasant time was had. Prices were reasonable too.”

“Visited The Sheaf Inn after seeing they have won several awards by Weetabix over the years for a Christmas meal with my wife. The pub and restaurant were full of atmosphere and it felt really welcoming. The staff members are so friendly, and although the restaurant was busy, our waitress took it in her stride. We both had three courses, everything was so flavourful and delicious. The menu is varied, giving you so much choice and the chef and team are exceptionally talented. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality and the restaurant prides itself on sourcing locally. This restaurant offers a high-quality meal and would be perfect for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. I highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Excellent dinner last evening and such friendly & welcoming staff. This small village pub/restaurant from the outside seems quite ordinary, however all is not what it seems! Such an enjoyable & relaxed dining experience. Menu had an excellent choice to suit most requirements & very good value for money. Plates all well presented and plentiful with each course that was simply delicious! We will be back!”
