“Gorgeous food, great service and would 100% recommend. We had a meal in the private dining room which was decorated nicely and we had plenty of room. There’s a private bar that can be used in there too and also a speaker you can connect your phone to if you’d like your own music. Nice sized beer garden too. We had a great evening, thank you”
“The food was beautifully cooked and presented. Id go as far to say outstanding. The service was really good. Attentive staff. It was fairly quiet when we went so not much atmosphere but it was lovely inside. Maybe a bit more music and nice lighting for ambiance but overall it was excellent . Will definitely go again.”
“Went here with my Wife for our Anniversary, lovely food nicely presented & flavoursome. I had Lamb Bon Bon’s for starter, Tempura Monkfish for mains & Eton Mess Cheesecake. My Wife had Steak. There were 2 Young Girls serving who were very attentive & helpful.”
“Lunch as a birthday treat was eagerly awaited after booking and being a new restaurant in the village we stepped in hoping for a really good experience. Wow, we certainly got that in terms of the food. Well presented food, tasty and ample portions. We chose the asparagus starter and the chicken parfait and these were the perfect start to the meal. For mains we chose the Lamb Shank, and the Beer Battered Fish. No complaints whatsoever. My only feedback would be the speed of service and the one young man trying to do everything front of house. There was a steady stream of customers for a midweek lunch service. That aside full marks to all involved. Well done ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“My friend and I popped in here on a tuesday afternoon, around 630. The bar had about 10 people in and the restaurant area was just us. We had booked but dont think we needed to. The lady behind the bar, was friendly and helpful. I had the fillet steak, medium rare. It was cooked well and was very tasty. The potato was nice and crispy, with mushrooms. I am not sure what type they were. I am not a fan of mushrooms and tried a couple. They tasted ok but havnt converted me. The creamed broccoli was cooked well, with a bit of crunch but the cream needed to be thickened more. The gravy was rich and full of flavour and the meal was very filling. My mate had the lamb, which was cooked with a nice bit of pink through it. We both said we would return and try it again. Was worth the money paid, with the fillet at 30 pound and the lamb at 26 pound. The wine and cruzcampo beer, were exactly how you would expect them to be. There was a big fire place in the middle of the room and i bet it is lovly in winter”
