“The food, the platters, the setting, the service, even the bathroom, everything was amazing! We ordered the bao, the beef dumplings, the burger, the steak and egg, the beef sausage, and toast. The bao was served under smoke, which was really cool to see. The servers were coming constantly asking how we were doing, if we wanted anything else, and if we were liking the food, being very friendly. We went for Mother’s Day brunch and they specially had all the prices lower, they had beautiful live music, and a table for assembling flower bouquets for any mothers in the restaurant! It was so nice, and showed how much respect they have for mothers. They also had the option to have all the meat halal, which was very good too. The bathroom was very nice, and very clean. Great Experience!”
“I went here last year for my husband’s birthday, and we still talk about this restaurant often. It is by far our favorite restaurant in NYC. From the cocktails to the appetizers to the sides, everything was outstanding. I highly recommend ordering two bone marrow servings because one definitely won’t be enough. We also had the porterhouse steak, and the quality of the meat was incredible. The truffle fries and mashed potatoes were just as delicious. The only item I wouldn’t recommend is the fried chicken, it wasn’t bad, just nothing particularly memorable, so I’d skip it next time. Definitely get the burger instead it was so flavorful and juicy. What really made the evening special was the service. The staff went above and beyond to celebrate my husband’s birthday, including a complimentary dessert and postcards, which was such a thoughtful touch. Dinner is definitely on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be back.”
“It's a bit pricy, especially if you don't go for the Angus steak options, but all the dishes were really tasty and well executed. The 20oz ribeye steak was perfect to share between 2 people along with a couple of other dishes we wanted to try. The service was excellent. Michelin worthy. The vibe is classy and quiet but still relaxed. A great option for a steak night for a special occasion”
“We had a reservation at 5 pm, so the restaurant wasn’t very crowded yet, which made the atmosphere calm and pleasant. The food was good overall—tasty and nicely presented. In a few dishes, we felt that a bit more seasoning would have made them even better, but overall everything was enjoyable. The interior is beautiful and stylish, and I especially liked the bar area—it has a great vibe. A lovely place to visit, and I would definitely come back.”
“We started out am with a few appetizers. We got goyza (okay), Japanese milk bread (good), crispy rice (pass) and the scallops (great). The scallop appetizer was by far the best thing we had. For the entree we got the beef Wellington. That was good as well. I was not a fan of the mashed potatoes though.”
