βFabulous experience from the deck. Justin behind the bar was awesome. His knowledge on the menu was top notch, and his drinks were even better. We both loved our choices of food. Visiting from the Dominican Republic π©π΄/ the Keys, but we will definitely be back. See you soonβ
βBeen twice this trip. The hostesses are so sweet. All the servers have been so great. The food has been excellent. Right on the river with alligators right at the dock. Loved the live music.β
βMother's day. 1. You had to have reservations. We didn't but we were able to sit at the indoor or outdoor bar. A lot of customers very unhappy that they waited in line to find out you needed a reservation for a table. 2. There was a wait line before opening. We arrived 20 minutes before opening, with no line, and walked the dock. Came back to a line. 3. Clean atmosphere. Modern updated decor. 4. Lobster bisque is THE BEST in the area and that I have ever had. It has a huge chunk of Lobster π¦ in it. I tend to drive to Fort Meyer for a good lobster bisque. Now I do not have to drive as far. 5. We all did not care for the chicken Primavera. Very bland. Would not order again. We did not even box it up to take home. 6. We got the stuffed grouper with the broccoli, very good ππ½ π. Very happy. Especially happy with the unique twist that they put on the broccoli, with chimmichurri. 7. Son got the chicken sandwich. Huge portion. He liked it. 8. Dock is very well maintained. 9. Bathrooms are very clean. 10. Parking on site. It did get full and cars parked on the side of the road. 11. Outdoor bar did have swing chairs as well.β
βFinally got to Outback Crab Shack, bonus that it was on Lobster Night. The restaurant dining room is beautiful, clean & spacious. The AC was running a little too well so we decided to eat out on the patio. A little disappointed that the Lobster doesn't come with any sides included, but we're watching heavy carbs so the choices would've been Collards or Broccollini, anyway, so we opted to order the crispy Brussel sprouts appetizer as a side to split. The lobsters were modestly sized but they were absolutely incredible and perfectly cooked. Honestly, they were as delicious as the ones we've gotten literally straight off the boat in Maine. We both agree we could've eaten at least two each. The Brussel sprouts are a bit pricey but the portion is huge. The Brussels are pretty firm, the sausage is incredible and the Balsamic is perfect. Loved the goat cheese crumbles, too, and we had half of the plate leftover to take home. Our server was Hailey, very personable & efficient, made sure everything was to our liking throughout the whole meal. All in all, it was a really great 1st impression and we both agree that when we're in the area in the future, we'd enjoy coming back.β
βI had a top-notch experience here!! We sat outside and loved the spacious outdoor seating area and the great view of the water. There was live music that provided a nice vibe without being too loud for conversation. The food was fantastic. The lobster bisque had huge chunks of lobster. I definitely recommend it. I am looking forward to going back by boat. There is plenty of space on the dock to tie up and grab food. You could probably grab a seat at the outdoor covered bar. We arrived at opening time and had no trouble parking. Some menu items may be considered pricey, but it's good seafood at a great location with good service. This one is definitely worth adding to your restaurant rotation!! π½π¦β
