“We were on our way to Beaucoup Bakery but stopped to admire the water fall at The Waterfall Building. We saw coffee shop equipment and wondered if that location is still an art gallery. After taking a closer look we decided to stop there for coffee instead. It was a pleasant space. open and bright. It is a table service establishment that serves coffee and matcha, pastry, cocktails as well as cooked food. Upon entering, we were shown to a table where our coffee orders were taken. It is a very calming space, the coffee drinks were well executed although a bit on the small size. The food menu is simple but contains items that I can order even with my egg intolerance (e.g. mushroom toast minus the soft egg, ancient grain salad). We will definitely make it back to enjoy some food.”

“The food was amazing, with a beautiful view and stylish decor that made the whole experience even better. They also have lots of fun and creative drinks. My favourite dish was the burrata with sourdough absolutely delicious. We also tried the taro dumplings, oyster mushrooms, and duck dish, and every single one was excellent. The egg tarts were truly to die for. Highly recommend this place!”

“We enjoyed our quick coffee break at Ellipsis today. We waited 30 mins for a table, I’d make sure to reserve ahead! The cafe has a simple, modern interior with a fountain in front, it has less of a cozy vibe but it has that instagrammable aesthetic. Would come in the evening again to see how it’s like. The pain au chocolat was yummy, but I can’t say it’s worth for its price. The americano and latte were great. The black sesame matcha was amazing!! Best I ever had, it was so creamy and nutty, but the black sesame flavour wasn’t too overpowering. The service was great! Lorena served us and she was lovely and brought great energy. I’d come again to have their cocktails and food next time.”

“The space itself is absolutely gorgeous—stunning design and a great atmosphere for a night out. The food is equally impressive and highly creative; every dish felt like a unique take on modern flavors. To top it off, the cocktails are incredibly inventive and were easily the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the service side of things was a major letdown. The reservation organization was poor from the start; despite reservation was made well in advance, there seemed to be confusion about our table. We were also hit with a very strict and limited seating time, which made the evening feel incredibly rushed. We were looking forward to try their entire cocktail menu.”

“The ambience was lovely and definitely the highlight of the evening. The staff were very kind and welcoming, though the service felt a bit inexperienced at times. The food was enjoyable, but for the price, it didn’t quite stand out as much as expected. The wine selection was also fairly limited. Overall, there’s potential here, and with a bit more polish, this could be a stronger dining experience.”
