“We stumbled on this restaurant and decided to try something new, and we’re so glad we did! The restaurant is such a great vibe, the food was amazing, and the service was fabulous- Anna was so attentive and helpful, she was so great. All around fantastic, so glad we gave it a try! We both got a couple of drinks, “Mama’s Platter” for lunch, with cabbage rolls, pierogies, and sausage, finished off with the honey cake, and everything tasted amazing.”
“First time dining in the main restaurant but have visited the bakery since they opened the counter - few years ago! They always have incredible pastries, and lunch was equally delicious. We had the Kozak lunch with beef borscht, cabbage rolls and the bacon varenyky. I also recommend the kompot (always!), and a pot of the Carpathian wild tea with your pastries. Alyona was our main server and made choosing options much easier - we wanted to try so much! We’ll have to come back soon. :) Much love to the Kozak team! 💙💛”
“Amazing place! I was so happy to try all my favorite foods here, and I absolutely recommend it to everyone. Great service - we got a table almost right away despite how busy it was. Our waitress Antonina was very friendly, helpful and professional. My only problem is that my husband just told me these were the best varenyky he’s ever tried… which apparently means they’re better than mine 😅🥲 You’re forgiven for that though - because it’s true 😉❤️ I’m definitely going to come back here💙💛”
“Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible the Chicken Kyiv was outstanding, the shashlik was very tasty, and the varenyky are a must-try. Even the pickled platter, though a bit pricey, is 100% worth it, the Napoleon dessert was absolutely delicious. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Everything is done with real Ukrainian soul and at a very high level. Dishes were served warm, fresh, and right on time. Our waitress, Lilia, was incredibly kind and made our experience even more special. Highly recommend - amazing food, amazing service, and a truly warm atmosphere!!”
“So this was my 3rd time here... this place/menu works best if its shared by the whole group... i was missing the communality and tasting all the great perogies from my last visit... so go with a group you can share a few options. Ive had the borscht a few times now and its good, but maybe not my thing... the perogies and fresh-baked crusty bread and several great-looking bakery items have a stronger personal pull for me (the bread on its own was to die for... love some good, crusty bread.) Thanks again for a unique meal ✨️🌈”
