“Absolutely incredible service, flavors, and environment. Staff were amazing,(huge shoutout to Matt my server and Sarah the sommelier for their attentiveness and warmth, you both absolutely deserve all the praise). Tried the tasting menu earlier in the week, and wrapped up my visit with a-la carte dinner. The wine selection is great, and every dish I ordered was delicious. Highly recommended, total for my meal came to $418 and rivaled $600 meals I’ve had at some of the best steakhouses in the country. Can easily spend $180 and have an incredible dinner.”

“Well…this was more like a 4.7 star experience but great enough to warrant 5 stars. First of all we went there for a special occasion and we were not only well received, but there was a cute card at the table signed by a few staff who were working that evening. This was followed by a complimentary glass of Cava because of the special event. The food was also coursed perfectly building the experience. The food was spectacularly good : not only in presentation, but in taste . It’s great to see a restaurant transform vegetables, yet keep their character enough to maintain their original flavors and textures. Ranging from the absolutely killer buttermilk pie which had just a tiny touch of sweetness and a silkiness to the filling which was great, to the smoky beets and the fabulous cabbage with the char complimented with an earthy shower of blue cheese. The spring green salad was possibly overdressed. The bagna cauda possibly needed more punch, but made for good eating nonetheless. The beet salad could’ve benefited from a textural contrasts such as walnuts or something subtle, and sure the grouper could definitely have been helped along by some acid, but was it enough to be knocked down….unnn not in my opinion! Absolutely excellent place and the aformentioned buttermilk pie which provided a classic touch with a modern interpretation will haunt me for a while…but it’s so worth it!! Go now and then some more!!”

“Meg and I visited Isidore last night with another couple to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary, and the entire experience was flawless. Right off the bat, we were met by a wonderfully friendly hostess who already knew we were celebrating, which was a fantastic personal touch. ​The restaurant itself has great South Texas vibes and a really cool open kitchen. Our waiter was absolutely awesome—fun, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We started off with some drinks, and their unique takes on classics like the Martini and Old Fashioned were perfectly executed. ​Since we were with friends, we decided to share six small plates and two big plates, and the kitchen even sent out a few extra surprises for us. Every single thing we ate was excellent; it is honestly hard to even pick a favorite dish. Great atmosphere, killer cocktails, and top-tier food. Highly recommended!”

“Our dinner at Isidore had some exceptional food and service highlights, some slight inconsistencies delivered a few misses. The oysters with buttermilk and bacon were beautifully balanced and never took over the oysters. The red snapper crudo was fresh, vibrant, and one of the best dishes of the evening. Both paired wonderfully with our Sancerre, whose bright acidity complemented the seafood perfectly. The cheddar croquettes were less memorable and didn’t deliver the same level of execution as the opening courses. For the entrées, the pork had excellent flavor but was inconsistent in doneness. The tilefish was cooked very well, but the generous beurre blanc drowned the delicate character of the fish. Dessert was a mixed experience. The pumpkin spice ice cream delivered wonderful seasonal flavor and spice, but it arrived nearly melted, which was a miss. Overall, there were moments of genuine excellence with service and wine pairing with the seafood dishes, but the experience felt somewhat uneven for a Michelin-starred restaurant. The best dishes showed exactly why Isidore has earned its reputation, though a bit more consistency would have elevated the evening.”

“Came here for a birthday dinner to celebrate my Wife. Food: Agua Chile - 4/5, Sourdough with Pemmican - 5/5, Popcorn Chicken - 3.5/5, Porkchop entree - 3/5, Dry Aged Strip - 4/5, Goat cheese meringue - 5/5. Service: Phenomenal! Everyone was extremely attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly...they cared! They had a personalized birthday card waiting for us to greet my wife at the table. They took their time to explain anything we may have had questions about to include the food, drinks, and design of the restaurant. Although it doesn't matter to us, our cups were never empty. Atmosphere: It's dim and quiet in the restaurant. You can definitely enjoy a nice conversation with the folks at your table. Everything in the room felt intentional to include the volume at which the servers were speaking. If too dark, they would even accommodate your table with a lamp. No complaints!”
